Got the new 1/72 Airfix P-51D done recently.  This was a great little kit, not quite as finely molded as the Tamiya offering but that's not too obvious unless you're comparing sprue to sprue.

The real neat features over the Tamiya kit are the optional dropped flaps, up/down gear choice, and positionable rudder (this got overlooked when I wrote my review, it fits really well!).
