They look great on the paper, better than a lot of ALPS-printed decals, but they sure don't lay down over curves worth a damn. I found enough leftovers from my other Piedmont models to do the stripes with "real" decals, then I'll just cut out the white outlines with white decal film. PITA, but easier than trying to get these things to lay down. I'll just use tape to pull the stripes, windows, & doors off. The doors are too narrow and the windows look funny, anyway. They're too boxy-looking, so I'll just use the kit ones. I'm just going to have to live with the way the Draw decals lay across panel lines and the rudder hinge. It's like laying a plank across a ditch!  >:(

As we discussed, these decals look like they were made with Duct tape, only duct tape would lay down better for you..... hmmmmmmm :)

I'm starting to become the Shane of airliners!  ;D I'm finally getting around to putting the decals on my Daco 737-400. I'm using some from Draw Decals, and I'm not all that impressed with this Digital Silk stuff. The artwork is great, but the ink they use is so stiff, it's like trying to get scotch tape to bend around a curve. I've used heat from a hair dryer and Solvaset to try to get them to lay down, but no luck. If I get time next weekend, I'm going to try to paint them with Future to see if it will pull them down.

Oh, and I painted this one at the same time I painted the other 737, and this one came out all grainy. I'm also on my second set of engines. This one will be lucky if it makes it to the display case.
