British WW2 Mini Series

The BBC series called "Folye's War" came up during last Thursday nights contest meeting. The series is now I believe on it's 7th season. Foyle's War is about Superintendent Inspector Folye who is the chief police inspector in Hastings at the start of WW2. The series progresses through the war and highlights issues that occurred during that time frame in England. At the start of season 7 it is now the Cold War with Folye involved with MI5.

Folyes War is on Netflixs, PBS, and DVDs are available at Barnes and Nobles.

Other BBC mini-series that I know of that occur during WW1 and the years leading upto WW2 are:

"Island at War", which takes place on the Isle of Gurnsey, Netflixs, Youtube
"In the Heat of the Sun", which takes place in Rodesia, Netflixs, Youtube
"Downton Abby", England end of WW1 and into WW2, PBS
"Call The Midwife", England WW2, PBS
"The Paradise", England late 1800's, PBS
