            The Winston-Salem Chapter of the International Plastic Modeler's Society is proud to announce its biannual invitational: Full Model Jacket '14: The Show to End All Shows. This contest will be held 5 April 2014 once again at the Old Town Baptist Church. Attached is a pdf file of our flyer which details categories and contest information.

            IPMS/Winston-Salem (Home of Great Models and Bad Foreign Accents) proudly invites your club members, undoubtedly some of the finest modelers in the Southeast, to attend our annual model contest and beauty pageant. OK, so there won't be a beauty pageant, but it got you thinking, didn't it?

            In an effort to stimulate our economy we are also coming to you with hat in hand, asking for bail outs in the form of a trophy package. The math is simple - $25.00 for your choice of categories. Give til it hurts!

We encourage you all to attend. Bring your finest hand crafted, detailed, cussed-over masterpieces! Loot and pillage the vendors! Gamble the kid's college fund on our fantastic raffle! Experience the shake and bake shock and awe that is IPMS/Winston-Salem.

News to me at yesterday's Richmond show (congrats to our multiple winners!), IPMS Winston-Salem will be holding a show on April 5th.  I can't find the flyer listed online, but the key details are:

Full Model Jacket: WWI "The Show to End all Shows," presented by IPMS Winston-Salem, Saturday April, 5 2014.
Old Town Baptist Church, 4386 Shattalon Dr, Winston-Salem, NC 27106
Registration opens at 9am, closes around 12:30pm.
$10 for the first 5 models, $1 each additional.  $1 discount for IPMS Members.  Juniors, $3 for unlimited entries.
Theme awards for World War I subject (1914-1918), and best reconnaissance aircraft.
