One of my co-workers has been to that museum. He was also very impressed - talked about it for 3 days in a row..

I am not an tank fanatic but I am so glad I went.  This place is absolutely incredible and if you have never been there I highly recommend going.  It's more like 3 or 4 museums in one and is reported to be the largest tank and armor museum in the world...I believe it.   I know we had a group trip scheduled to go about a month or two ago but I missed out on that.  If you are a tank, machine gun or uniform fanatic then this is ground zero.  There is something there for everybody, even a large collection of books, model kits and authentic uniforms for purchase.  Check it out at aaftankmuseum.com.   I can't believe that some IPMS group in Virginia hasn't had their model contest there.  I spoke to the son of the owner and he said he would be glad to host a contest at no charge.
