Guys,I spoke with Woody yesterday and he told me that they will be releasing him from rehab next week sometime probably Christmas eve.He sounds like he's in good spirits and is ready to vacate the rehab premises.If anyone wants to give him a call here are his digits:919-836-2929

2nd Message!! I must have been out of it when all this activity took place.  NO OPERATION, just loss of balance. Please ignore my rant thinking nobody cared.  When you see me I'll be using a walker and I now weigh what I did when I played football, 175 lbs.  THANKS for your concern. Herk, I have shaved at least a half dozen times since you saw me.  Thanx for the visit, I was out of it and did not realize you were there.  Merry Christmas, Woody

Bill L. Thankx for your concern, it's good to hear somebody cares.  I've heard from Spanky and Larry, and I have been in Rehab for 2-3 things for the past 2 weeks, knees, arterial fib, and for some reason I have lost my balance in my right leg, am feeling much, much better, and should be getting out Xmas eve.  Merry Christmas to you and yours, Woody G

Stopped by WakeMed Cary to see Woody today. (He is registered as H. Griffin - Rm 265) Looks a little rough - has not shaved in probably 4 -5 days, but was the standard "Woodly grumpy".  Other than being tired, he seem to be in good spirits although he indicate he had developed a UTI while there.  Even so he said he should be released on Friday.  Stayed only about 5 -10 minutes so he could get some more rest.
