Great little shine hauler.

Thanks fellas - the real thing would be a blast to drive on a closed race track >>> wouldn't want to drive it on the highway though!

Another great build and story.

Bob, Nice build!

Hey the club decided to a car build over the summer......anything you like from your own stash of kits with a due date of the September meeting. Not a problem for you! I think we will have a vote to determine the club favorite with a gift card as the prize.

Stacey David is the host of the TV series GearZ on Speed TV. He has worked on numerous vehicle modification and repair projects. Many of these projects are unique in terms of the final results.

The types of vehicles Stacey works on range from off-road four wheel drives to hot rod street trucks to around the woods all-terrain vehicles—or just about anything else that has an engine and some way to steer it. There are rumors that he's pretty good on the guitar as well. At one point, Stacey even played professionally so that he could finance his projects.

In this collaboration with Revell, David created the ultimate 1932 Hot Rod.  While Revell has a stable of fine modern-tooled 1932 Ford variations, this 1/25 scale kit has all new tooling and parts.

The body color is Tamiya's Candy Lime Green over a base coat of Krylon Aluminum, polished up with Novus #2 & #1. Engine was wired and plumbed, throttle linkage was made from .01 steel wire and hollow rubber boot material - tires were sanded, and wheels (painted with Alclad ii) were washed to bring up those nice kit details.   FUN BUILD!
