Raleigh Hobby has turned out to be a watered down Hobby Town. They have stocked nothing new, just some paint. No glue, putty, tools, or kits.

I went to promow yesterday looking for paints and the supplies are getting low
Also no new kits just the same old stuff they got in the buyout.

We need a small full service paint and supply shop that gets just the newest kits.

Reminder that theres the hobby/lawn mower repair place on Rt.401. They;re the guys that bought out the Hobby Town in Apex. Hugh paint selection including stocking Tamiya paints.

Received a 40% off coupon in the mail today for Hobby Lobby of Raleigh located at 6200 Capitol Blvd. across from Gander Mtn.

A 'low side' recon confirmed this and the fact that every Soccer Mom and House Wife in Raleigh had advanced knowledge of the opening.  Lots of Testor Paint, some Model Master paint as well as another brand of acrylic paint that I am not familiar with.  Kit selection was reminiscent of Michaels but Raleigh now has its own Hobby Lobby.
