It came molded in a light-med grey.  So I just dirtied it up a bit and painted some areas with Gunship grey for contrast.

Good job Bill. What color did you go with for the Tie fighter body?

Back in the saddle - YEAH!   Bill, who knows, maybe the glue fumes will do you some good.

So today was my first day back to modeling since early February. While I am resuming work on my EC-121 (our club build), I wanted to build something that I knew would be fun.

Enter Bandai's Advanced Tie Fighter.  I really enjoyed the other two Bandai kits, and this one was no different. Great fit and great detail. Two features I love in a model. It goes together rather quickly (3 hrs in general) then I add a little paint here and some weathering there. BINGO - You have a Tie that Darth Vader would be proud to fly.

I hope to bring it to the Sept. Meeting.
