I would say no also. Usually all that's allowed is antennas and change in decals.

I would say no but sometimes OOB allowances change per contest. Always good to ask ahead of time.

Are hypodermic needle machine guns and pitot tubes allowed.  I am guessing no but wanted to field the question to anyone who has had experience judging this category in the past.   I am working on a Hasegawa Shinden 1/72 and broke the pitot tube off and am unimpressed with the port nose mounted machine guns.
