Looks great!  Another Brit plane to add to your showcase.

Nice and crisp, just like the real airplane.  Well done!

Been playing with a model instead of working.  ;D  I picked up this Dynavector Hornet vac kit at that estate sale in Fayetteville a few years ago for ten bucks. I converted it to a Sea Hornet by modifying some bits in the cockpit and adding an arrestor hook & camera windows to the fuselage. Most of the decals are from Xtradecal, but I had to provide my own roundels. The ones I stole from my Academy Hunter for the wings didn't cooperate, and have light-colored patches and wrinkles I couldn't get rid of.

This is typical Dynavector, a great kit that's really easy to build. The cockpit parts, props, spinners, exhausts, gear, and wheels are white metal, and are very nicely cast. The model weighs a ton because of them! The only item not included in the kit is a pitot tube. I also added some Eduard colored seat belts. I made some basic errors while experimenting with getting the trailing edges nice and sharp, so its not one of my best models.

I'll try to post some better pics this weekend. Now, back to the Hunzilla!
