Wow, Mike!  That is really kind of you.  There is no rush.  We can get together whenever you make it to a club meeting.  Maybe December.

I did see the post for a little guy F-16, but as you know, I'm all about 1/32 right now and I already have one in the closet, courtesy of you.  ;)

Thanks again!

Hello,Lee. I have an Academy kit that I'll gladly provide you the clear parts from. Just advise me when we can hook up. This is a crazy week so far. Maybe this Sat, unless you want to come in to Raleigh from the park. just send me an e-mail at flightlover08@att.net.

By the way did you catch my ad for the little guy Tamiya 1/48 F16CJ?

I'm about two hours of work away from completing a Hasegawa 1/48 scale F-86F-30 Sabre.  The windscreen, which I carefully faired into the surrounding fuselage, fell off during construction.  I glued it back on and redid the seams.  It fell off again during painting.  I glued it back on and once again refilled the surrounding seams.  After decalling, it fell off a third time.  During my last attempt at repair, I ended up sanding completely through the thin clear plastic.  It's ruined and cannot be salvaged.  It isn't strong enough for a heat and smash master using Squadron Thermaform.  I checked and Falcon doesn't appear to make a vacuform replacement.

Anybody have an old F-86 windscreen in 1/48 scale in their spares box?  Any manufacturer's piece (Monogram, ESCI, Hasegawa, Academy, even a Sabredog windscreen) can be adapted, I'm sure.  This old modeler would be greatly appreciative.
