Is the Fairy Firefly the one who's landing gear failed this weekend? Saw the video on this morning's news.

High points: saw the Me262 fly, could get as close as you wanted to all of the aircraft. Saw Me262, P-51, B-17, B-25, PBY, C-46, Avenger, Corsair, Ju-52 all fly. Too windy for smaller aircraft (Storch, trainers, DH Dragon Rapide, Yak, etc). Probably a couple hundred re-enactors with all sorts of vehicles and guns (including a real and complete "88" AA gun).
Well worth the trip.

A good friend of mine also attended this airshow. He definitely said that this is a very good event. They also have a WW1 event in the fall.
