Thanks Clyde. The big oops is just my impatient and careless and rushed paint job. I tried to cut a corner and paid for it. I will fix it up though. And your right Lee does give good advice. I will be in California for the June informal build session so I will see you in July ;D

Thanks Lee. I am going to build a tank and a couple small scale planes for a break. And be more patient when painting.

;D Welcome to the dark side.

Well, that can happen to any model, in any scale.  I think what makes the bigger models so frustrating is the amount of time it takes to get to a certain milestone.  When I build a 1/32 scale jet, I can spend 15 to 20 hours of effort just building and painting the cockpit.  In a 1/72 scale build, I'm usually putting the decals on with that same amount of time expended.

Stepping away is always a good answer on curing frustration.  Burn out is often countered by building a subject or a scale that is totally different from your routine.  It allows you to refocus and most importantly, cool down.  In a couple of months, you'll screw up the courage to sand the entire wing down, eliminate all remnants of the accident, and produce something that you will be proud of.

I am going to take a little break from 1/32 scale and do some 1/72 and 1/48 scale and maybe a tank. I gaffed my Frank and got really frustrated last night. I was painting and quite a bit of paint (red) sloshed out of the airbrush cup and onto the upper wing surface. Now if I try to sand it out it will leave an uneven surface and just look like crud. >:(  I just think I need a break from the big planes for a bit.
