Thanks Tony. I used British Sand with a little yellow added. I do not think the skin is accurate. After searching the web for some shots of the T-80 UD the Russian sand varies in shade. Here are some update photos. Its a little glossy right now but I will tone it down with a flat coat later on. I am getting ready to start the weathering process with washes and pigments.

Wow Bill that is nice and a menacing looking tank at that. The light tan seems a lot lighter than the first photos what did you do to get the final shade? Looks like a radome tan vs desert armor

Here are some pics of my current project. I wanted to build a tank and take a step back from airplanes for a build. Sometimes when I build a tank its helps me refocus on planes again. I have not given up on my Frank! I started to clean that up for the second time.

This is what I am shooting for. A three tone T-80.

Put a first coat on today. MM British sand with some yellow mixed in. Close as I could find to Russian colors.  I will soft mask later and start the green/black camo pattern once dry.
