FSM backdating a Monogram F-18C to an A

I recall that build but I did the base and don't recall the other details.

For my build from 1986 it's a Lot 7 block 14 mod A bird. AK301

I may switch it up with AK302 for something different but they are the same block. AK302 is also with Davey Jones, so it will be harder for someone to say I was wrong.

It has the updated A tail bumps and tail cleats. No vents or bumps behind the cockpit, LEX fences, or chaff/flare dispensers.

Anyone recall the article that Darren Roberts did and more importantly does anyone have that issue in case I don't?
