Heard an interesting interview with a P-47 pilot

The pilot's name was Jack Teuller. Here's some pics from his squadron. His was a natural metal razorback:

He told of getting bored while flying top cover for Charles de Gaulle's parade when he returned to Paris, so he and another pilot flew under the Eiffel Tower. de Gaulle wanted them courts marshalled for taking attention away from him. They got called in front of LeMay and Teuller said LeMay made a mule driver sound like a church pastor. Interestig interview.
