Hey Shane,I would post your experience on HS to let other folks know about this guy.I see stuff like that on Missing-Lynx all the time....good vendor, bad vendor etc.
But I must ask,how do your hands fit around a 1/32 scale plane?

I have heard several good things about Yannis Hobby Shop doing good mail order business here on Hyperscale.  I considered ordering my Christmas gift through Yannis Hobby Shop but I bid and won one on ebay through Tallon-Star-jet.

Having won and paid for a 1/32 scale Hasegawa kit from "tallon-star-jet"  I waited over 3 weeks for it's arrival and only after emailing "tallon-star-jet" through ebay email about the status of my order, was my money refunded with a note on my paypal account that it was "out of stock

I was dismayed to find a possible connection between an Ebay seller "tallon-star-jet" and Yannis Hobby Shop.
The name attached to the paypal account the refund was made from is IOANNIS PAPAGEORGAKIS.  See below the article from the Feburary 6th 2006 Palo Alto Weekly newspaper:

Now I see that several other ebay buyers have posted similar stories and negative feedback on "tallon-jet-star" ebay account during the same time frame.

Is ordering direct through Yannis any better than ebay seller Ioannis Papageorgakis?  The initial 1/32 scale kit I won is still being offered through Yannis Hobbies at a higher price  than what I won on Ebay.  In any case,  I didn't think "out of stock" is an option on ebay.  Is it ok to say "out of money" after winning an auction?

Thanks
Shane
