OK - it's been awhile but I'm starting to nibble away at a couple projects.  The first likely to be completed before the December meeting is this HUGH submarine, the USS Seawolf.  I wet sanded out the dribbs and drabbs and laid down a nice satin finish.  It has different sheens at different spots but that is also the way I would imagine the real thing would look like at dock.

Only thing left to do is add the 'speckled' conning tower scopes and antennas and a few decals.  Then this goes in the 2011 Finished file.

Bill, that looks great! Any chance it'll fit in your car to bring to the next meeting?

Well done! How many gallons of paint did it take?

OK, this'll be it for today.  Sprayed the black, and the white for the scopes on top.  Time to let it dry over night.  Finish tomorrow??? Stay tuned.

Well, the seam work is finally finished.  Yesterday I got the bottom red painted. Took almost a whole bottle of Tamyia red to cover it.

Today I hope to mask and get the black upper surface painted.

Looks good Bill.

A few critical remarks though. Your work area is much to clean. Splash some paint and glue around. Also you need to have three models in progress not two to reach the OMS "Obsessed Modeler Syndrome" level. Now I see the stealth kit on the shelf and the mini tanks so that may count if certain criteria have been met. The sub looks cool though. Cant wait to see it built up.

PS I am building the FW D-11 I purchased at the show from Mikes collection. Hope to start painting it this week.

While I'm waiting for the F-100F to dry, I continued work on the really putty queen, Trumpeters rather large USS Seawolf. the seams on the 2 pcs. maim hull arched inwards so gluing them together was a challenge in itself.  A lot of putty is required to make up the difference.

I almost have it to where it feels smooth.  One more area to re-do before Mr. Surfacer goes on.  Once that's done I'll get it into the Paint shop as well.  Hope my spray booth is big enough? ? ? ? ? ?
