Tornado Madness

I have been compiling a list and have started an Excel spreadsheet listing all things that are hotter than the soot stains on a Tornado's vertical stabilizer after multiple STOL landings....... I have contacted FoxNews and [unfortunately] Gallup and CNN to conduct a poll.

The soot stains on the muzzle and forward slide area of a well used 1911 pistol and the used/discarded/thrown-away Whole Foods Canvas ["Green"] shopping bag of Jennifer Love Hewitt are the only things that have come close.

I have thusfar been unable to find anything else.  Please weigh in.........

I really can't wait to see the finished product - especially the panel line work.

Yes it'll get some weathering once I've got the res of the bits on. The finish needs to be flattened and panel lines brought out without overdoing. Up on the tail when the thrust reversers kick in shoots a lot of sooty stuff up that needs to be added...

Here is some in progress shots of my Saudi Tornado. This is the Italeri kit which has been a bear to build from the start. I did swipe some parts from an Airfix GR1 and am using the Neomega cockpit which is nice. The markings have been a bit tough since some of the ones available are missing key stenciling or the flags are not quite right or the words out of scale... anyhow this is a pretty cool looking scheme. More updates after I fix the rear horizontals.
