To paint, or not to paint....that is the question

I agree! paint it how it looks good to you! IPMS judging can be too subjective at times and will depend greatly on who is judging.

Shane,do it the correct way,meaning the way it is historically correct and have photographic proof to show the color po-lice.

I am finishing off my last Topsy and wanted to do in it in "un-natural colors". The book. Emblems of the Rising Sun by Peter Scott  (Page 91) shows a Ki57 II in 1941 in a very crudely painted green and brown color scheme.  VERY crudely painted.  This is my 3rd Topsy and want to show it in an unusual color scheme.   Should I paint it for the IPMS judges or history?

I am sure that they will have a time with my civilian camouflaged Ki-57 as it is....

Granted, they are resin and will not stand a chance against Hasegawa twin engined, but like a tall mountain, it has to be climbed.
