I believe this will be the last one for the year.

This was a 'Weekend Experiment' to see if a kit really could be built in a single weekend. You'll recognized the kit as the Revell/Monogram F4U-4 with folding wings and retractable landing gear.

Due to all kinds of painting failures, both in paint manufacture and user error, (too long to list) in spite of high frustration, I got as far in a single weekend as final construction and full paint....  No decals or sealant.  So while other projects were in un-workable (as in drying) , I decided to go ahead and apply the decals and sealant. Not the greatest, but a good 4-footer.  Looks like a Corsair on the shelf!!
