Very cool idea Bill, I've already built 3 of those kits since Sunday...in my mind.  I like the part about "wiffer" subjects like "what if" I actually get some kits built this year?

Already started the Revell 1/53?? F94, I like the subject, terrible kit, no awful kit....1/2 a tube of putty and scraping all of the lines and rivet off, later.....6 hours straight....it still looks awful.  Anyone know where to get color pics of the thing?  I'd like to do the ANG 139th Fighter squadron that flew out of Schenectady, NY.  I have some black and whites but no color.  They also have a logo on the front that I can't make out.  There is a web site that has the serial numbers of the F94B and the numbers I have pics for are FA 830 859 908 and 5323.  Any info would be helpful.  I can make most of the decals with the decal program from Micro Mark unless someone has better ones.

Love this idea. Give everyone  until September or October. I'm excited.

Bill,

That is an excellent idea, had something along same lines and like the direction of this one.

Ryan,

I would like to suggest the 'Curt Bandel Club Build'.  Curt, if you recall, was the modeler that gave over 100 kits of all manufacture and subject matter to our club yesterday.  Since almost everyone took at least one of his donated kits home, I was thinking we could ask everyone who did (including the kids) to build one and submit it on a future date TBD.  No prizes, not a competitive build, but a creative and 'Just For Fun' build.  'What If's' would be welcome and encouraged (hear that Ronnie??).

Obviously this would be open to club discussion. And lastly, if you did not select anything from the donated kits, you would still be encouraged to pull a kit from your stash (maybe something you may not have planned to build) and participate.  It's more fun for everyone if everyone joins in.

Thoughts?
