Hangar 18 and Nick's Trains are acting as drop off points for as long as we (and they) would like. As for what kinds of kits, skill levels 1 and 2 are realatively inexpensive and a quicker build. Some of the more complex kits I have received I am earmarking for shipment overseas to active duty folks. Snap kits are good for some of the vets who have never built before and for the USO centers so guys might finish something in a couple of hours while awaiting flights. All and anything is good. As for the VA hospital we are trying to establish something off the campus so any club member can help without getting clearance.

I am waiting to hear back from the USO about the honorees. I will keep you posted.

Jon has told me that some of the Vets might enjoy some easy build kits or snap tire stuff.  Maybe we can start a drive to either buy or gather up some HobbyBoss, Pegasus, Revell car kits?

Jon, I will drop some kits off at Hangar 18 next week. What branch of the service do you want me to build a kit for in October? How is it going with the VA Hospital Model Club?  Cheers, WoodyG.

Hello everyone,

If anyone has any kits and or supplies, they would be greatly appreciated.

I will pick up, just give me a call at 919-538-3348.

Nick's Trains and Hangar 18 are also drop off points if you like.

Many thanks,

I have some kits I would like to donate.  Who is coordinating that?

The Marines have a site requesting donations...
