Title: 1/48 Monogram P-38M Night Lightning
Post by: Bill L. on Mon 09/03/12 01:41 PM
I started this kit about 4 months ago, and figured while I finally had some time on my hands I could get some progress on it.

I installed the weights in the nose, Puttied the hell out of it (this mold is very old), got the putty sanded and applied Mr. Surface 1000 to see where the next round needed to be applied.  In the end there might be more putty than plastic!!

After I sand it down I'll know if I move to paint.  I have a feeling it will need a little more work be fore then.

Looking Good Bill!!!  After building two of these kits I can appreciate the effort you've put into it to get the seems and rivets looking right.  I look forward to seeing it in person.

Looks good Bill. Looks like you have the entire Alclad inventory on hand to paint that bird. Look forward to seeing it done.
