Dave you had mentioned that you may be building this model. This is a good link to a build blog and some of the shortcuts and challenges of the kit. What a beast!

Thank you Bill. It was a real beast, and It isn't that often that a model is this compelling. I haven't gotten one yet. All the sites I go to have been sold out.
Good things come to those who wait.

Sprue Brothers has a few left.

ScaleHobbyist has them in stock also, at $11 less than SprueBrothers. While their shipping isn't as speedy as SB, the price savings are generally worth it (to me).

Thanks. I'll check out these sites. I was hoping to get it with Squadron's Black Friday sale. No Luck.

Well I finally got my T28 yesterday. It's a big box packed full. Most of the parts are new for the T28, but a couple of bags of M26 are thrown in. I want to thank Bill for the link he included in his posting. It confirmed to me that there are a number of small, but important features the kit omitted. I think I can manage a little scratch building. To add some life and make it look operational, I have picked up a nice late war US tank crew from Miniart. They will look nice populating a hatch or two. The 105mm gun has a nice aluminum barrel.
