Hey All,
I picked up Academy's re-pop of Accurate Miniatures TBM-3, and the instructions are ... less than satisfactory. A number of details are simply assumed that you know how to do (for example, between two steps, the fuselage is closed up, the engine is mounted, etc...).
I was hoping somebody would have the AM instuctions in their stash and could perhaps copy the instructions?

Mica, I will make you a copy of the instructions and bring them Sunday. One of my oldest kits, good way for me to dig it out and and put it in the "to do" pile. Cheers, Woody G.
wasn't there a website that gave some tips on building the AM kit. particularly the turret. Anyone know the website for that?

I thought it was the AM website where Bill B.(? kit designer) did the build.
Yep, it was on the Accurate Miniatures website, now long gone. Bill Bosworth did the build and was the marketing side of the original AM. He tried to tell me the long sad story of what happened to the company during RDUCON 2011, but I didn't get to hear it all due to my divided attention to the judging duties. There are some archival sites that the original articles may still be stored on.

You mean like so.

For the other kits....

Excellent find! There is also a step-by-step build that Bill did of the B-25B kit that I found useful when building my model. That may be preserved somewhere else.

thanks for locating those references. Anything that can make such a nice kit easier and avoid issues due to poor instructions is welcome :)
