Calvin has an Osprey book available on Amazon Kindle for about $9.00 that details modifying and painting Waffen SS soldiers. I think much of what he does could be learned just by spending some time in his blog and online. I found that the book spent too much time on the modifying part and not so much on the painting part. It was helpful nonetheless and was all done with Vallejo acrylic paint.
