Title: HEY CAR MODELERS - Help with Ford Crown Vic
Post by: Bill L. on Sun 07/28/13 05:17 PM
HEY CAR GUYS !!!!

I have been asked by a friend to re-paint a 1/25 2008 Ford Crown Vic with a FORD color YG Titanium Grey, metal body and plastic glils.  What paint type and color would be a good match and what prep and finish would you recommend to achieve a high gloss finish?

I'd like to wrap this up for him by this next weekend.

Thanks
Bill L.

Try getting touch-up paint at the local Ford dealer, or a local auto paint store. You can get it in lacquer, in small tubes with brushes in the lid. Paints easy, polishes out easy, correct colors.

Ben sent me a great link for Auto paint.

I found and ordered exactly what I needed. Should be here before the weekend.

Thanks Ben.
