Thought you'd be interested in case you hadn't seen it: Tamiya (doesn't say what scale) M4A3 on Iwo Jima. The builder added spikes, sandbags and other goodies. Looks like a nice job.

Thanks Lee, I had not see that build of his only his 1/72 version a few weeks back. More then likely it is 1/35.

For those interested David Harper's book Tank Warfare on Iwo Jima - Armor Specials series (6096) ISBN-10: 0897475593
is a good reference for Iwo tanks. Lots of color options and added goodies to the normal OD Green Sherman.
