Anyone going to the contest this weekend??
RonV
I'm planning to go up. I've always liked their show, and it's a nice drive to Roanoke.
If it is a choice between Roanoke and those going to the Museum, I will probably go with the museum group. Do we have an assembly point yet for the car pool to the Museum. Location & time?
If the choice is for the club to go to Roanoke, do we have an assembly point for that group? Location & time.
Regards,
Steve
The newsletter will need to go out soon, so maybe a decision can be made about this coming weekend, and I'll be sure it gets passed along.
Do we need to post a poll to know how many want to go in which direction? If so, Matt can you set up one.
Regards,
Steve
It's my understanding that the armor museum is closed on Sundays. I don't think any arrangements have been made, so it's probably out.
I think Ron probably just needs to make an executive decision as president.
If you personally want to organize a car pool trip to Roanoke, I'll be glad to put the details in the newsletter for you. I won't be involved as Steph and I are going to make a weekend of it.
Just let me know.
I am willing to support which ever location the Club desires. From the message traffic I have seen, participation in the Roanoke event seems to be the preferred activity. So - what is time & location for assembly for car pool to the event??
Regards,
Steve
I'm actually supporting both events......
Those wanting to go to the Danville Armor Museum please make your own transportation arrangements. It's open from 10 till 4 on Fridays and Saturdays. Cost $12 per person. Anyone going to museum please provide a photo slide show for showing at a club meeting??
Those wanting to go to the Virginia Shootout please make your own travel arrangements. Registration closes at 12 noon and its about a 4 hr drive. Cost I think is $10 for the first 5 models and $1 per extra model.
Everyone have a good time this weekend!
I'm going to the Virginia Shootout.
Thanks
RonV
I'll be in Roanoke for a couple of hours. Hope to see Ron and others there.
Thanks,
