It's an art supply store at 110 Glenwood Avenue called Askew-Taylor paints...but don't let the name fool you - they have a TON of great stuff for model building JAMMED into this place! This old Victorian house is packed, and open from top to bottom for you to roam freely as you wish. From cutting tools, to weathering supplies, to the world's finest brushes, you're gonna be surprised...and they don't stop there...
they have brass and copper sheeting, contest-grade wood, styrene rods and sheets, diorama grasses and trees, several types of water effects, dyes for water effects, resins, mold-making materials, high quality Italian air-dry clays, and thousands of pigments in powders, cakes, sticks and liquids, a full line of measuring and marking instruments, a full hallway of sculpting supplies..........and that's just the ground floor!
AND HERE'S THE BEST PART: Kirk Taylor, his daughter Helen and their staff are GLAD to see you every. single. time. (even if it's close to closing time, they will never rush you out!)
