Title: NCMA Exhibit Porsche by Design
Post by: Bob S on Tue 10/06/15 08:34 PM
The North Carolina Museum of Art included 4 of my model cars in their PORSCHE BY DESIGN exhibit two years ago this month.
The models selected for exhibit were 3 Carrera cars in one case together on the exhibit level near the box office, and the 934 Turbo was displayed in a case of it's own at the beer garden level. What a blast this was --- and my entire family came to the show together to support me!
These were built from 1/12 scale Tamiya kits.

Congrats, great job on those cars.

The club was at the History Museum back in 06.

Right your are Ron. Speaking of family, I read a recent article about how to engage children in the digital age -- and they specifically mentioned model-building as
a great way to get the young'uns to use all 10 fingers, good exercise for hand/eye coordination, and a great way for parent/child to interact.
If I can find the article again, I'll post it.
