Title: Crown Vic
Post by: Ryan K on Wed 10/07/15 03:25 PM
Anyone know of any 1/24-25 plastic or resin body for the more modern police Crown Vic's? I have the Lindberg kit but I need the next generation of those. Testors had a metal body but I don't want to do that. Those look too toy like.

Also a 2001 Dodge Van - the big 15 passenger type or a Ford Aerostar (not sure on the year).

Ryan
My buddy bought and disassembled the Ertl 1/18 (?) NY Police car which I sanded down, filled the holes in the roof, and repainted with automotive pain for him. This built back up to an unmarked cruiser. It was also 'his' car that he bought from a company in FL that reconditions used police cars and sells them to the public at a 'steal' !!!

Thanks, that is an option. Not sure if I can get those decals scaled up.

Ryan,
Which Lindberg kit do you have - 72777?  I think this is the most current Crown Vic version on the street.

What are you planning for the van?  The last 1/25 van I have seen was the AMT "emergency" van (it came with lights & decals for a fire support vehicle).

I have an eBay site for any accessories if you are interested.

Regards

I have 72779 NC State Trooper. From what I can tell that kit is not the latest. There is a black area on the trunk that doesn't match. The other two kits don't need lights, they are transport/utility vehicle with the markings.
