I know I'll be there. Any of you planning on judging? They wanted a pre count of interested judges I'd possible.
Judy and I will be there, though we can't stay the day so I don't think I'll judge.

Hey Matt,nope,I won't be judging. My back and eyes can't handle judging anymore.

We had a great turn out at the Salisbury Contest. The competition was tough with the boys from Virginia Beach attending. There were only First and Seconds given out with a sweeps rule in place. Just about all who attended walked away with something. The raffle had some outstanding large dollar items with no special tickets needed for those $$ items.

Yes, my impression was that it was a good show. It was good to see a lot of Eagle Squadron members there and some other Raleigh folks. The vendors certainly had some good deals and there were a lot of attendees. Kind of hard to tell how many models were entered because of the contest area layout. I'm happy for the Salisbury guys to have what appeared to be a successful show.
How did the Eagle Squadron entrants fare?

Ron - 3
Matt - 2
Spanky - 3 (Swept the Helo category)
Shane - 2
Larry - 2
Good showing for us.
Got some ideas we need to consider when doing the planning for the proposed 2016 RDUCON. Reminder to all that the initial planning meeting will be tomorrow night 7:00 at Tripp's. Will need all of you that volunteered at the September meeting to participate and others to help fill out the show positions. Remember we WILL NEEED participation of members on more than just the show day - good shows take good planning. We have a history of good shows, lets continue that history.
