Anyone know of a paint conversion for Ammo MIG colors?
Want to build the Takom Turtle and color selection is not my strong suit. I would like to use what is on hand (Tamiya, vallejo, model master) and places like imodelkit or ipms Stockholm don't have Ammo colors.
Ammo Colors:
915 dark green
076 brown soil
061 warm sand yellow
059 grey
058 light green khaki
Could always go panzer grey but ugh!
Some ideas I have: Vallejo and Tamiya in order from above
71.012
Xf-64
Xf-59
71.050
Xf-58
Ryan,I don't know about a conversion chart that match up with the Ammo colors
but I can tell you this Ammo paints sure go on excellent.I'm using them on my Char 2C.You can get them from www.microworldgamesllc.com.The paints have a little ball bearing in the bottle to ensure that the paint is properly mixed.
That Turtle is sure butt ugly which raises the coolness factor. It looks like a cartoon vehicle.

That's what I hear, just didn't want to get another paint brand and there is no set for Czech colors.
Sounds like you're wanting to do the camo version. If you remain undecided on paint accuracy, here's another option: you could paint it up like a MAD MAX vehicle.
...Or maybe I'm not being helpful at all............................................
It's an idea. There is police version that is a overall light blue/grey but that needs different tires and guns. CMK has a set for that and some figures. That's more then the paints. ::)

Another color option but no numbers.
