Next Meeting

Sunday, June 13, 2010, 1:30 PM
Classroom 126A, Engineering Tech Building, Wake Technical Community College

Last Month's Meeting Highlights

We had a group exercise where members shared their worst completed model in their collections.  There were lots of guffaws as some truly wretched models were revealed.  The point is that no matter how good the modeler is now, we all started at the same innocent point and made all the same mistakes in the learning the ways of our craft.

This Month's Meeting

Informal model build session.  Bring a kit, sit down with your fellow modeling buddies, and while away an hour or two, just like you did when you were a kid.  There is no formal agenda.

Future Meeting Calendar

Lee, when did the meeting change from the 3rd Sunday to the 2nd Sunday of the month?  This is very confusing.  Hope the membership reads the newsletter. Cheers, Woody G.

SORRY!! I just realized the 20th is Father's Day.  Don't want to get into that bruhaha again.  Cheers, Woody G.

Yes, that is exactly why we published the schedule at the beginning of the year with a June 13 date (second Sunday) instead of the June 20 date (third Sunday, and Father's Day).

Yes folks I wondered the same and went and checked the calendar we setup and sure enough the date was this weekend and why it moved.... As Lee says this is why we setup the dates and get it online.
