Title: Future Meeting Demo Topic: Phtographing Models (how to use digital cameras)
Post by: lgriffin on Wed 01/19/11 02:55 PM
Food for thought: I know I would like to know more about using a digital camera for photographing models effectively. As it is now, I just rely on the camera in Auto mode to do all the work, but that's taking the easy way out and certainly doesn't yield the best results in all situations.

Is there a club member who is knowledgeable about digital cameras and model photography willing to do a demonstration on using digital cameras for model photography? Is this a topic that others would like to see discussed?

Thanks,

Lee G.

Excellent idea and I would be happy to conduct such a demonstration.  I'll schedule it for the next open slot in our agenda.

Perhaps talk about lighting for non-metal finish vs Metal Finish?  I'm sure you have some models that can cover those?  ;)
