St. Baldrick's is coming!
Hey everybody -
I'm getting bald this spring for kids with cancer. Let's face it, when you look like me, bald isn't a really big step down, but for the kids it really can be. You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment. Mike's St. Baldrick's Online Donation Page:

Join me at the Hibernian Pub in Raleigh, NC on the 5th of March or at any of the other Nationwide sites - either on the barber's chair as a "shavee", or at least to make a donation ...and after the shaving, I'll buy the first pint!
In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please consider making a donation ($1, $5, $10, or whatever you can - it's easy, fast and tax-deductable) on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure - and a chance to keep their own hair.Last year, with all of your help, over $400 was raised "on my head". Let's see if we can top it this year!

AWESOME - Now THIS would be HUGH in IPMS if a whole club did this to raise money.
Mike - How can I support you? email me direct.

Always remember that in 1386, Geoffrey Chaucer wrote:
"His heed was ballid, and schon as eny glas."
Now what did we all learn from Chaucer's "Canterbury Tales" in high school? Not much, although we suspected that ol' Jeff, didn't know how to work the spell check on his computer, and probably wrote when he'd been drinking...
I'm with Bill - who wants to get bald with me?
So, who else will stand up with me and help to raise money to fight childhood cancer? Maybe we could start an Eagle Squadron Chapter 'Bald Ace' Team. Sign up at http://www.stbaldricks.org (http://www.stbaldricks.org) to have your head shaved, or let me be BALD for you, by donating "on my head" at: http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mkopack (http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mkopack)
