This Month's Meeting

     We return to our normal meeting schedule with a group exercise: Build Outside the Norm.  All of you who have been diligently working on your models that are outside your normal comfort zone, the deadline is this weekend.  Bring them in for inspection and sharing your experiences with the rest of the club.
     Club treasurer Ryan Koschatzky will also be presenting a detailed financial breakdown of RDUCON 2011 expenses and revenues, including the final resolution of the Mike Mittenzwei Estate.


USO North Carolina Black Tie Event

     Jon Emery is requesting built models to be donated to a very worthy cause: the USO, NC division.  There will be a silent auction at an October 7 gala event and Jon would like for some nicely built models to be part of the items up for bids.  Also, he is looking for built models that can be donated directly to members who will be honored that evening for outstanding service to the USO.
