Last Month's Meeting Highlights

     We had our Build Outside the Norm results, with ten modelers showing their efforts.  Joe Marranca and Woody Griffin won gift certificates from a random drawing of the participants.
Club treasurer Ryan Koschatzky presented a detailed financial breakdown of RDUCON 2011 expenses and revenues, including the final resolution of the Mike Mittenzwei Estate.


This Month's Meeting

     We will review photos of the RDUCON 2011 contest, with commentary from the membership.


USO North Carolina Black Tie Event

     Jon Emery coordinated IPMS Eagle Squadron's participation in a Black Tie event to support the USO North Carolina chapter.  Six models (built by Tony Leger, Woody Griffin, Jon Emery, and Lee Kolosna) were donated to a silent auction, with $1700 raised for the organization.  An additional six models were awarded to active duty servicemen for their outstanding service.  These were built by Tony Leger, Ryan Koschatzky, Ron Verberg  and Jon Emery.  Thanks go to all the modelers who gave to this worthy cause and also a big thank you to Jon for organizing our efforts.
