I case anyone in your club (or your club itself) wants to vend, please pass this along to your members!
Hello vendor! Now that Christmas is over and the New Year approaches, it's time to reserve your tables for Jaxcon 2012 here in Jacksonville, FL.. The show will be held on Saturday, February 4th, at the UNF University Center (same venue as the last several years), from 9am-5pm. Tables are still only $25 for each 8ft table! As usual, you can look forward to:
1) One of the largest shows in the southeast, with an average of 400-500 models and 200-300 people. Since we're the first show of the year, people are ready to go to a show!
2) We let people on for free! There's NO impediment to those who are there to shop your wares, even if they don't enter the contest!
3) Great lighting and carpeted floors, an ATM machine on site, and a snack cafe for those of you who have trouble breaking away from your tales for any length of time, so you can get coffee, soda, and a snack.
4) EASY load in from the large doors in the rear, starting at 6:30am, with plenty of dollies (and helping hands) if you need them.
5) The possibility of a Friday evening load-in from 6-8pm, depending on the venue's schedule (I'll let you know a week before the show).
6) The contest has almost 100 categories, making it one of the largest outside of the IPMS Nats! That attracts a LOT of modelers of all types! Complete contest info can be found at: ipms-firstcoast.com
So what do YOU need to do?
A) Contact ME asap! Email me the number of tables you want to reserve, or call me at 904-215-8108 (after 6pm please).
B) Make a check out to: IPMS First Coast and send it to ME: Gil Hodges, 5733 Springhaven Dr., Orange Park, FL, 32065
C) I'll email YOU your confirmation as soon as I receive your payment.
Remember, tables are first come-first reserve-first paid/confirmed! Our vendor area has sold out each of the last 5 years, so do NOT delay in contacting me! This is YOUR chance to target modelers with YOUR products, kits, decals, books, and tools for the hobby.
I look forward to seeing you here in Jacksonville, FL, on Saturday, Feb. 4th, at the UNF University Center.

Can you contact Gil about cost of sponsorship? I couldn't find any on their website http://www.ipms-firstcoast.com/home.htm and what I saw from sponsorship was very light.
I guess we need to discuss our policy on sponsorships. Do we stay within our Region? Do we go outside Region 12 (like into Virginia?)
