thanks for the info Ben. I didn't have the thinner but used windex and it woorked well. I probably thinned it too much at first but will play with it. clyde

Micro finishes don't seem to play well with alcohol. I've been using Windex or Testors Acryl Thinner, ~50/50 mix. It dries a bit faster with the Acryl thinner.

Clyde, I would suggest you use another kind of flat finish.  Thin Testors 50-50 and use that.  Just a suggestion.  Cheers, WoodyG

I tried a new (for me) flat finish, Microscale Micro flat and it clogged my brush even after thinning with alcohol. anybody out there with experince with this product that can suggest solutions? thanks,clyde
