I am going to take a shot at scratch building for the first time.  The subject is the cockpit of the tiny 1/72 Airfix "Red Arrows" Gnat.  I have already reshaped the kits seats to look a lot closer to the seat in my references.  Any thoughts on how to proceed with the instument panels, some guages, etc. would be appreciated.  Its a cool looking little jet.  I have always admired this kind of detail in 1/72 scale so I would like to do the "Sabre Slayer" some justice.
