Using stencils for painting national insignas for the first time. Did not work out so well. One side is particular bad (which i knew as i couldnt get the mask to lay flat). The others i got white edges. Should have reversed and painted blue first, then white. Know for next tine.

Any ideas on how most easily fix the white edges?

For my next build i was planning to do something different that mynplanes. I bought a Tamiya 1/350 scale Fletcher destroyer, which seemed like a small and good beginner kit. I also got photo etched parts for it (Eduards) since i figured it would be a good way to pratice working with PE.

I used some oil paint to do some details on c-47 Saturday and Sunday, not alot and the oils soaked on cardboard overnight before using them.

Rob was asking me what rivets I was using on the Apache and I’ve used in a variety of builds are from Archer. The sheet number was AR88015 and if I’ve had the sheet a while I’ll give a quick spray of decal film. I found the cutting a line of rivets once in water they could break into smaller rivet sections making the alignment task harder.
