Last Month's Meeting

We had our final summer build session.

This Month's Meeting

Our regular monthly meetings resume as the weather has finally taken a turn for more mild temperatures.  Bring all the projects that you have been working on over the summer, as well as your Curt Bandle or Mike Mittenzwei projects.  The club will give a monetary award to the "People's Choice" winner picked from all the participants.  These models will also be displayed as Eagle Squadron's club entry at the Fayetteville contest on November 11.  While Curt Bandle no longer lives in the area, he extends his appreciation at being invited to view the completed models (which he gracefully declined) and is delighted to learn of the project.  He hopes to be able to see photos of the finished pieces, which we will certainly be able to accommodate.
Club president Ryan Koschatzky will present a draft of the club's bylaws for review and comment.

Club Build Projects

USO Black Tie Event – like last year, Jon Emery is coordinating the donation of models for both the silent auction and the service award given to one deserving member of each branch of the military at the USO gala event in October.  Jon is now accepting contributions of built models for Marine, Army, Navy, and Air Force subjects, plus additional pieces for the silent auction.  You can bring your models to Jon at the meeting.  Please be sure to pack them for secure transit.
