Very funny Ryan.  There might be one or two of us out there that would like an F-14.

:)

I saw a 1/72 "battle damaged" F-100 at my Ollies! It looks like the tail had been blown off. I should buy it for Ben for the Christmas exchange. He could fix it up.

Aaaaaaarrrrgh! :-)

Good idea. I didn't think of that in regards to the Christmas exchange. What are the 'Rules' for the exchange (ie max/min $, subject, etc)?

The exchange is not mandatory. If you have a kit at the December meeting you get to play. We have a soft $15-$20 limit on what you paid not current MSRP, otherwise folks couldn't get say a Revell/Monogram F-14 for instance. There is no other restrictions on the item (kit, book, decals, etc...all are good).

They do have some obscure kits. I saw a 1/72 "battle damaged" F-100 at my Ollies! It looks like the tail had been blown off. I should buy it for Ben for the Christmas exchange. He could fix it up.

Hey Gang,

Stopped by our Wilmington Ollie's a few days ago checking to see if their model inventory had changed and, indeed, it has. The Minicraft kits are gone (a few Testor kits still there) but they now have a number of Lindberg kits. From memory they had 1/48 scale of a F7U-1 Cutlass, Me 262, F-86, and an experimental aircraft (but I don't remember the name). They, also, had a bunch of funny Hawk "Weird-Oh" car kits from the 60's (remember those?).
