Pin Vise HELP!!

Ben,
Thanks for the suggestion - a + cut handle will hold at #80 drill bit - but - it works better for drilling if the + is centered on the handle.

Have a look at your #11 Exacto knife handle. Some of them have a + cut instead of a slot for the blade that's perfect for holding small drill bits. I use mine almost as often as I use a pin vise. Hobby Town sells this style and I think Michaels & AC Moore. The ones Office Depot sells just have the single slot.

Does anyone have a pin vise that will grip a #62 drill bit that I might borrow?  Neither of mine will grip a bit that small.  I am needing to drill holes for replacement (aftermarket) gun barrels for 5"/38 on a 1/700 USS North Carolina.
