Great job Jon. I guess the Army felt it was a better direct fire weapon than an ADA platform.

Just finished this antique Tamiya M42 Duster kit for a local vet who crewed one in '68. I was amazed when he said he was a cannon cocker and not ADA. (Artillery and Air Defense Artillery for all you civilian types) The 40mm went from shooting down Jap aircraft to VC ground forces. Holy Geneva Convention Batman... His scrapbook is interesting to say the least. I used Archer dry transfers to add his bumper numbers. Straight out of the box. Only thing added was a c-rat box and the ammo belt on the M60. Hoping to have Al come and give a talk after the first of the year.
