Lee, can I get Dave Corvino's e-mail? I am going down to spend the weekend with my dad in Summerville and plan on going to the event. I thought I had his e-mail but it keeps getting kicked back.

Guys,

I want to formally invite you to LOCO-CON 2015!  The LOw COuntry CONtest.  Please let all of your club members know bout this event. We will be hosting the contest at the new R.B. Stall High School in North Charleston, and we are sponsored by the Stall High School JR. ROTC members.

We are planning a fun event with a Make-N-Take, Raffle, lots of awards, and plenty of great deals.

The Coastal Carolina Modelers Association will be hosting this contest on March 14, 2015.

We will have 60 categories. First, Second and Third place plaques will be awarded for each category. Best of's will be awarded for each Class.  We have multiple themes: Silent Service in WW-II, Air Defense Artillery, and Automotive 1965. Theme awards will be given for each theme.  We will also have Merit awards.  So far, we have almost 180 model kits in our raffle. It will be a great one!  There will be a Make-N-Take table for all the kids that come to the show. They will be able to build a model of their choice, either a 2015 Mustang or an A-10 Aircraft. Revell has supplied the kits.  We have 50 kits available.

We encourage you to volunteer to join our judging crew. The more clubs represented, the better. We plan to use experienced head judges in every category, so if you are an experienced judge and want to participate, please let me know. If you are less experienced, don't worry, you will be part of an experienced crew and you can learn from their experience, while also giving your input into the judging process.

Vendor and sponsor information is also attached. We appreciate your support in any way you choose to provide it.

I'm looking forward to seeing you in March.

I have attached our contest info to this e-mail.  I hope to see you there!

Thanks and all the best,

Dave Corvino
